Seddon
Renovation and extension with gorgeous features on a 198sqm block.
With their home ideally located within walking distance of Seddon Village but in need of additional living space and a refresh, Gaby and Ian contacted BCT Group wanting to knock down the lean to at the rear of their home to complete a renovation and extension.
Working through the heritage overlay attached to the home, the BCT Group Design Team were able to design to Gaby and Ian’s brief and budget to create plans for a new extension.
We maintained the front of the existing home and converted one of the bedrooms into a study space to compliment the family’s living requirements.
At the rear, the new extension features a kitchen and dining area which is finished with timber and blue laminate. We also created a separate laundry space and added a new bathroom which is highlighted by the juxtaposition of green tiles and smoked glass shower screen.
Given that the home was set on a 198sqm block it was fantastic to be able to add much needed living space for Gaby and Ian to enjoy into the future.
